Seminars/Consultation for
Professionals:
2-way video teleconference
(2/2009)
Several organizations have sponsored my talks on bipolar
disorder, but these are coming to an end for several reasons:
However, I've enjoyed meeting lots of mental health colleagues over the years and would like to continue to make my ideas available to those who are interested. If you would like to arrange a seminar for yourself and colleagues, I'm going to offer that by video teleconference: live, 2-way linkage -- which is the only way this could be truly effective, and fun. Cost for this service is $250/hr, which can be divided among all attendees -- so it's cheaper with colleagues! If you are interested in this option, please send me an e-mail and we can look at connection options. We may be able to find a videoteleconference system near you (e.g. your local hospital); or use a videocamera on your computer for you and up to one other colleague. "Skype" is one potential vehicle for this; although it's not perfect, it's free! Because of malpractice limitations, we won't be able to talk about specific cases, but can make the questions you have about patients into generic questions and address those.

Sorry, due to our medical-legal system, these programs are only available to professionals, not to patients. No exceptions (the lawyers won this one already...) |
